Throughout North America, the unconventional gas resource, estimated at thousands of trillion cubic feet (tcf), has been largely ignored to date, specifically in the Western Canadian Sedimentary Basin (WCSB). As a result of recent technological advances, a new wave in natural gas production is upon us.

Unbridled Energy strongly believes, similar to recent developments in coalbed methane production, shale gas and tight gas sands (tgs) will play a major role in the future of North America’s natural gas supply. The company was formed for this express purpose.  Unbridled is pleased to be one of the few shale gas and tgs E&P companies, certainly in Canada, and has focused on building an exceptionally strong technical team with the intent to lever this strength into large scale, high growth resource plays throughout North America. Thus far, this strategy is working well for Unbridled.

The company’s technical team is currently developing high reward resource plays specifically in the WCSB and, at the same time, is focusing on near term cash flow opportunities in the United States where shale gas is currently more developed.  The company has expertise in many shale gas basins in the United States. They will emphasize their efforts on the Appalachian basin, in the eastern United States, and anticipate positive results by first quarter of 2007.

The company owns an interest in two natural unconventional gas plays in Western Canada, one of which, the Chambers play, is anticipated to achieve commercial production by July 2007.
