Unbridled Energy Corporation (the “Company”) has developed a concentrated strategy for the evaluation and development of large-scale unconventional natural gas resource opportunities throughout North America. More specifically, the Company’s business comprises the acquisition and/or development of lower risk oil and natural gas reserves, while simultaneously exploring large-scale unconventional gas resources with specific emphasis on shale gas and tight gas sands.

The continued growth in demand for natural gas throughout North America, coupled with many U.S. and Canadian gas fields experiencing significant decline, is forcing Industry to develop new sources of supply. Commercial shale gas production is now a reality in the United States precipitated by the prolific Barnett shale play. Operators across the United States and now western Canada are leasing hundreds of thousands of acres in pursuit of these large scale shale plays. It is anticipated over the next 5 to 10 years, shale gas exploration will be conducted worldwide.

Shale gas plays, however, formatted in layers can extend hundreds of feet thick and cover hundreds of thousands of acres. Current resource or gas in place  estimates of shale gas and tight gas sands for the United States and Western Canada collectively exceed 2,000 trillion cubic feet (“tcf”) of natural gas. This next wave in natural gas exploration is very much technologically driven. Effective, economic hydraulic fracturing and recent advances in horizontal drilling are the two enabling technologies behind the current surge in shale gas and tight gas sands exploration and production.

In order to successfully execute its strategy, Unbridled has assembled a technical team specializing in shale gas and tight gas sands exploration and production. The Company’s team will concentrate on applying the latest exploration and exploitation technologies, with specific emphasis on horizontal drilling and multi-stage stimulation technologies to large scale unconventional natural gas resource opportunities throughout North America.
